The Boynton Beach Community Redevelopment Agency won an award for its marketing efforts. Earlier this month, the agency won a SUNsational award for their "Catch a Free Event" poster series. The promotional poster ties into the agency's slogan: "Catch yourself in Boynton Beach." The marketing efforts included getting attention for the agency's events like 'Movies in the Park' and 'Music on the Rocks.'

The award was presented at the Florida Festivals & Events Association on Aug.14, at the associations 20th anniversary convention and trade show in Orlando. The SUNsational award is given to marketing programs within the state the exhibit innovation and creativity. The Boynton Beach agency was judged by photographers, media outlets, website designers and marketing professionals and took home first place in the $49,999 and under promotional poster category.
