Freedom Boat Club recently celebrated its 26th year of bringing great memories and hassle free boating to its members. With over 117 locations nationwide, it has perfected a simple alternative to boat ownership. Serving over 12,000 members and 1,200 boats from Boston to San Diego and Chicago to Islamorada, it is the world's oldest and largest members-only boating club.

Freedom Boat Club provides the luxury of boating without the extensive time commitment of owning. Simply show-up at the dock and you are on your way within minutes in new, clean, and fueled boat of your choice. They believe you should spend your days on the water, relaxing, connecting with friends and creating wonderful memories with family. When your day on the water is complete, you simply return your boat to the dock and your done. They take care of the rest – cleaning, storing, maintaining and insuring. Members experience all the fun of boating with none of the headaches.

Their newest location at the Boynton Harbor Marina in Boynton Beach opens conveniently located hassle free boating to southern Palm Beach County. From this idyllic paradise location, members can enjoy cruising to Delray Beach or Boca Raton restaurants or enjoying motoring north to Key Lime House or West Palm Beach.

Even first-time boaters can take to the water with confidence, thanks to professional on-the-water training from seasoned mariners. They provide unlimited training, at no additional cost. All the instructors are Coast Guard Certified Captains and have been credentialed by Freedom Boat Club.

“Our club’s primary focus is centered on our members receiving an exceptional experience each time they use a boat,” said Dan Lund, owner of the Palm Beach and Martin County Clubs. “We offer a new fleet of clean, highly maintained boats. Our online reservation system coupled with an industry low 1 boat to 10 member ratio, results in our industry leading satisfaction rate for boat availability among members. In addition, we are located in beautiful, safe marinas with parking adjacent to our slips. Our professional, courteous staff greets you and your guests at your car and helps load your gear on and off the boat. Our goal is to provide an atmosphere sure to remove all the hassles of boating so you can simply enjoy all the pleasures.” Lund noted.

They get access to more than 1,200 water vessels at 117 seashores and lakeshores at Freedom Boat Club locales across the nation and Canada. Beyond the national network, the greatest benefit of club membership is avoiding the typical hassles associated with boat ownership: maintenance, repair, cleaning, slip rental, storage, insurance, towing trailers, etc.

“Freedom Boat Club is a smart and convenient alternative to boat ownership,” Lund said. “Our members enjoy an unlimited access to a fleet of boats – bow-riders, center consoles and pontoons. Our Lake Park location is convenient and centrally located one mile north of the Palm Beach Inlet, 10 minutes from Peanut Island (one of the most popular boater destinations in the County), and 15 minutes from the ocean. The marina borders the Lake Worth Lagoon, which is a popular spot for wake-boarding, tubing and water skiing.”

Their second location at Pirate’s Cover Resort & Marina in Stuart is a beautiful setting for boaters and those who love a peaceful, serene waterfront environment. Fishing is spectacular both inshore and offshore. Whether you’re fishing, or just cruising to sandbars, restaurants or beautiful home sightseeing, it always makes for a fun day.

From Lake Park or Boynton Beach, boating on the Intracoastal Waterway provides access to many restaurants and recreational opportunities. Head south of Peanut Island to view the beautiful homes on Palm Beach and make your way to a wide array of restaurants, bars and shops in downtown West Palm Beach. There is easy water access via the free City docks. Stroll down Clematis Street, the historical heart of Downtown West Palm Beach or catch the trolley to City Place. And if fishing is your passion, the Palm Beaches is a fisherman’s paradise with many spots for sport or deep-sea fishing.

You can enjoy the Treasure Coast in the same fashion as the Palm Beaches. Launch from the beautiful Pirate’s Cove Resort and Marina. Within 30 minutes you can be shopping and dining in historic Stuart. Or, you can be fishing off-shore or on the St Lucie River.

Enjoy hassle free boating – all you do is have fun. The boat is waiting…why are you?
